You wanted it? Well, you just got it. The dream phone that many wanted till now has arrived with all the features requested like a premium body, killer display and spectacular camera all the while including the expandable storage and water resistance. (there’s no removable battery though). Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge have arrived on store shelves globally in 60 countries and will go on sale today.
The countries include united states, Korea Singapore and Australia.
To celebrated the occasion, Samsung has released a slew of adverts that showcase the features of the S7 duo and also the strong star cast. The Korean giant has revealed that the pre-order numbers have far surpassed their expected figure and are still going strong. This is partly due to the fact that Samsung has given a free Gear VR headset to anyone who pre-ordered the device.
It was initially thought that the handsets will retail for a low launch price tag but Samsung dared to introduce the phones at $699 and $799 for the S7 and S7 edge respectively and that seems to have made no difference to the consumers who have been dying to get their hands on the device.
Samsung has also indicated that other countries such as India will get the phone by next week. It doesn’t want to lose the hype that the phones have managed to create before selling loads of them worldwide.
