The Samsung’s new device, the Galaxy S8 Active, has been seen on Amazon recently. From the look of it, we can see that the device reminds us of the Galaxy S8 itself, with a difference in the thin bezel that S8 Active has. The image from above has been leaked from OTOMON, where we can see the device with its protectors on it. The side bezels of the device are a bit thicker than the S8 ones, and the display doesn’t seem to be curved somehow. That is mainly the biggest difference between the devices.
Also, we only see the front side of the device in this picture which is enough to see the screen differentials between the devices. The power key is also viewable on the right side of the device, while the Volume Up, Volume Down and the Bixby buttons are located on the left side. The device has been also previously spotted on Geekbench before one month ago. At the end of that month, the device also got its FCC certification, which suggested that the back side of the device will look very similar to the one that Galaxy S8. Also, it is now known whether the device will be water and dust resistant or not.
The specs of the S8 Active are also very similar to the original S8 as well. It is expected that the device will feature a 5.8-inch QHD+ display, alongside with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be also powered up by the Snapdragon 835 in the US, and with Exynos 8895 variant for some other markets. The device will come with pre-installed Android 7.0 or 7.1 Nougat. The device should be released really soon, but there has been no official confirmation from Samsung yet.
