Samsung has already introduced the Galaxy Tab A in the US and is available in 8 inch and 9.7 inch variants. However the Galaxy Tab A that will be introduced in the UK will only be in 9.7 inch version.
There will be three different editions that will be launched in the UK; this will include the Wi-Fi only, LTE and S-Pen variant.
All of these editions will be having the same specifications including the 9.7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 along with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC.
Apart from this the tablet will also have 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 5MP camera at the back with a 2MP front shooter. The tablet will be running the Android 5.0 and will be equipped with a 6000mAh battery under its hood.
However the Wi-Fi model of the tablet which also includes the variant with the bundled S-Pen will come along with a 1.5GB RAM while the LTE enabled version of the new tablet will have a 2GB of RAM.
Samsung has also started a promotion for the tablet where the company is offering purchasers a 115GB OneDrive storage, The Economist and Kindle for Samsung for free. Moreover the price of the Galaxy Tab A will be disclosed on the day it launches.
