Samsung is working on more than one tablets at the moment and Galaxy Tab S2 is one those. This will be the Samsung’s next flagship Tab which is going to replace the last year’s Galaxy Tab S.
According to the latest report the Galaxy Tab S2 has already cleared the Bluetooth and WiFi certification. The tablet will carry the model numbers SM-T815 and SM-T817. The tab will come in both LTE and WiFi only variants. The certification document it is also revealed that the Galaxy premium tablet will boast of Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and of course, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi support.
It is also rumored earlier that the tablet will have a 9.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. This year Samsung is trying displays with the 4:3 aspect ratio across its tablet range, which is odd.
We also assume that like Galaxy S6, Samsung will use Exynos processor instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon for Galaxy Tab S2. Also, we are hoping DDR4 will be used to boost performance. As always, Samsung will definitely make the Galaxy Tab S2 thinner than the current generation iPads.
As Samsung Galaxy Tab S was released in June last year, we estimate that Galaxy Tab S2 will be available during the same time this year.
