While Gamevil has published plenty of their own games as well as a few from their third-party publishing program, it seems as though Gamevil wants to keep the momentum going by outright buying game development companies. First on Gamevil's hit list is Com2Us which was announced as being purchased by Gamevil a few days ago. Today we have word that Gamevil has just purchased another game studio called Nine Wheels.
So what exactly does this all mean? For us not a whole hell of a lot besides the fact that Gamevil owns both companies. Whether these companies will still run under their own labels or will be completely integrated into Gamevil's brand remains to be seen. Either way it is definitely some interesting moves by a company that isn't usually known for purchasing other game development studios.
So what's your thoughts on this? Good? Bad? Where the hell is the next Zenonia game? Let us know in the comments below.
