The flagship Android phone has already smashed preorder records in the U.K., and is causing global pangs of jealousy today with word that it's apparently gone on sale early in Dubai.
If you just can't wait any longer, or your personal jet is in the shop and you can't make the trip to the UAE right away, there's still a way to get your hands on the Galaxy S III experience. Kind of.
Thanks to Smando over at the xda developers forum, Galaxy S II users can now port the launcher from the new S III onto their phone. If you want a taste of the latest and greatest of Samsung's Touchwiz, you can find download links on the original forum post. You can choose from a 4x5 layout for the launcher or give 5x5 a try, although you may run into some force-closes with certain 4x4 widgets.
