After launching the Gionee M6 and the M6 Plus, the company is already planning to launch a new variant of this smartphone. According to reports, the new variant is expected to be the Mini version of M6. Yes, the M6 Mini has been certified for sale bin China by TENAA, which is regulatory authority. So as per this certification, we have the name of the smartphone as well a few specs to take a look at.
As mentioned its going to be a Mini version of the M6 smartphone that was launched. As far as specs are concerned, we are looking a 5.3-inch 720P HD display and it will be powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It will pack 3GB of RAM and will have 32GB of internal storage. In terms of camera we have a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter and a 5-megapixel front facing selfie shooter. It will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Besides, the smartphone offers 4G connectivity with VoLTE support, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, and a micro USB port. It measures 149.0×73.3×8.2 mm and weighs around 170 grams. The device will be available in Gold Color option. The M series is known of the battery backup and hence we can expect the same from smartphone as well.
The previously launched M6 and the M6 Plus packs a 5000 mAh and a 6020 mAh battery. The M6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display and packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, which is expandable upto a 128 GB for extra added storage. It also features a 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear and front facing cameras respectively. Both the M6 and the M6 Plus features a security chip which encrypts all the data inside the smartphone.
