I’ve been using Don’t Disturb Me for a little over a week now. I’ve removed my regular Call Blocking app to see if DDM had the juice and user interface to satisfy my needs or maybe convince me to switch over considering most firewall blocking apps charge a monthly subscription fee.
Personally I don’t get Text or SMS Spam on my device. But I hear it’s bigger problem for some users. Most my issue is with email. I use Antair Spam Filter for my email troubles. But I do have a fair amount of private, unknown, sales people and some aggressors calling me. And that’s where DDM comes in for me!
You can block specific SMS, or Phone Calls by number, number prefix or use defined keywords like #contest or #millions etc (SMS blocking only). Set-up your Address Book as Only Permitted. Use “Safe Sender” to let only specific peeps through. The options are seemingly endless.
Other cool features like “Auto Responder” let you set an auto response message to a certain caller or all callers while your busy, in a meeting, sleeping and so on. Even set up the response to push to your blocked messages! That’s how I set it up. I always like going back over all the blocked calls & SMS Messages just to see if anything needs my attention. DDM gives a clear view of all the blocks so you can still respond, reply or call back anyone that you may have just been ignoring at the time. It’s a great app, especially at the low $3.99 asking price.
We have 30 copies to share with users. All you need to do is follow this step..
1. Leave us one comment explaining how this would benefit you. We’d love to read about some of the unique spam SMS messages or telemarketer call you guys have received.
This contest will run for a few days, after which we will announce winners then send license codes out shortly after the next post. Big thank you to Mobile4Life for offering this application and for the sweet update to v3.0, the app has gotten a great face lift. DDM is available for $3.99 in both major stores at the links below!
