Now, the latest update to GoodReader introduces more improvements, most notably a new Speak feature that effectively turns any PDF or TXT document into an audiobook.
To enable this new feature, just press on a blank section of a supported document and tap the new Speak option, whereupon GoodReader automatically begins reading the document aloud. You can also set GoodReader to read a specific section of the document by highlighting the section and selecting the Speak command.
To ensure that you dont lose your place in the document while its Speak command is enabled, GoodReader highlights words as theyre read in real time. Whats more, TXT documents are set to auto-scroll in sync with GoodReaders text-to-speech.
And to help you customize your GoodReader text-to-speech experience, theres a new panel for volume, language, speed and player controls.
