I’m not sure why this hasn’t happened earlier, but anyway: the Samsung-made Google Nexus S is about to receive its official update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Engadget has reportedly confirmed with a “trusted source” that the Nexus S would finally get ICS starting the next few weeks. Sprint’s version – the Nexus S 4G – is obviously included here.
Meanwhile, Samsung has already started to push Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates to its Galaxy S II. More Samsung handsets are scheduled to receive ICS updates pretty soon, including the Galaxy Note. However, it looks like the update for the Note may have been delayed. Samsung Norway’s Facebook page suggests the device will only get Android 4.0 in the second quarter of the year. But this may be a Norway thing only, so we’ll dig for more info and get back to you.
