And yet, while the Pixel 3 XL has leaked out several different times, the Pixel 3 hasn’t been camera ready, apparently. That’s finally changing today, though, as a thread on Reddit popped up that includes a clear look at the upcoming Pixel 3 and lack of a notch.
The images show us exactly what we’ve come to expect thanks to the rumors that have circulated. We’ve got a 5.5-inch display with a 1080p HD resolution, and the leak also indicates there will indeed be a pair of 8MP cameras on the front which are said to support the aforementioned Super Selfies as well as a new facial recognition feature.
Interestingly enough, the screen captures attached to the post also indicate that at least one of those 8MP front-facing cameras will support a dual aperture, similar to what we’ve seen in the most recent Samsung smartphones. In this case, the dual aperture in the Pixel 3 is said to be f/1.8 to f/2.2.
Unfortunately, that’s all we’ve got at this point. We can see the glass back on the Pixel 3, which will facilitate wireless charging. The single rear cameras is up there near the top of the handset, and we can see the rear fingerprint sensor sticking around for another year.
What do you think of the Pixel 3? Prefer this model without the notch?
