The #LG #Nexus5X smartphone received a $30 discount as well as a $50 discount last month, leading us to believe that #Google is reducing the prices permanently. However, it seems like the second discount was a temporary one as the Google Store page mentions that it will only be valid until this Friday, the 12th of February.
This will mean that the 16 and 32GB models of the handset will go back to the $349 and $399 pricing starting this Saturday. Well, it was good while it lasted. And fortunately, there’s still nearly four days left for you to get the device on the cheap, so you can still avail the discount if you’re interested.
The Nexus 5X comes with state-of-the-art hardware which makes it an attractive proposition in the midrange market segment. The device has a 5.2 inch 1080p display, the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, a 12.3-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 2,700 mAh battery. There’s Android Pay support on board as well, thanks to the onboard fingerprint scanner.
