Google Voice Goes all Black and Blue for Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean Users
So many of us use Google apps of some sort all day, every day on our Android devices. And we all know that Google is famous for making everything white and white as can be. This is bad for battery life. So with Android being what it is as far as highly customizable, so many G-Apps have been customized into different colors. Most notably being majority of G-Apps being what the community calls “blacked-out” to help on the eyes and to help with battery life.
I bring you a black and blue version of Google Voice today. It seems this has been one of very few G-Apps left out from being “blacked-out” over the years. That’s no longer the case now. In fact, there are two different versions. Though they are very slightly different. One version is all black and blue, while the other has a couple of fields that are white, to make them stand out a bit better. Just a little personal touch by the developer who actually prefers the bit of white over the solid blue.
There’s a screenshot of the solid black and blue version. You can head over to the original thread at XDA-Developers and check out all the information with regards to the customization and to of course grab yourself a copy of the APK file to download and install. Let us know what you think and if it’s worth it to you.
