It was widely expected that Google would be unveiling the successor to the Nexus 10 as well, when it announced the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat. However, its been a month since Google put the Nexus 5 up for sale, but there have been no signs of a Nexus 10 successor being launched.
Well, it looks like Google is either done with 10-inch Nexus tablet form-factor, or it is on the verge of releasing a successor sometime soon.
After Google removed the Nexus 10 description from the Play Store, it confirmed to the folks over at TechnoBlimp that it “does not plan to restock the device once it sells out.” The stocks of the 16GB variant of the tablet have already gone out of stock since then.
Unlike the Nexus 7, the Nexus 10 was never really a hot seller for Google and was plagued with issues right from launch. While rumours about Google releasing a new Nexus 10 have been floating around since sometime, nothing concrete has leaked to backup this rumour. The latest rumours and leak indicate that LG is making the new Nexus 10, which contradicts earlier rumours of ASUS making the tablet.
