As some of you may recall, a few weeks back Google offered up a bunch of apps at 49¢ each. One of those apps that really caught my eye was Endomondo Pro. In a nutchell, Endomondo is an app that tracks your fitness, no matter what activity you are doing. Whether you’ re a walker, biker, runner or whatever this app will be invaluable to you.
Features include the ability to track your distance, duration, avg. speed, avg. pace, and calories. And, when done, what better way to share your successful workouts than with your Facebook friends! I love this nifty option as I can share with a click of the button or have it automatically done each time. Personally, I don’t do the auto share because I stop and restart sometimes or take a few moments to get going.
Although available as a free app, I love the Pro option of challenging myself to beat the last time or distance. Along those lines, the free version lets you challenge friends on Endomondo and/or give real-time pep talks! If you tie to Facebook, your workouts will go to your news feed provided by Endomondo. As a side note, going to their website and setting up an optional profile is very easy. What’s more, Endomondo also makes it a breeze to do so through the app itself.
Currently, the Pro version is now $3.99 in the market, the free version of Endomondo lets you use a bunch of the same features without spending any cash. As a friendly recap, here’s a look at the details for both editions of Endomondo.
