Debuted at CES, Crayola MyPhones are volume-limiting earphones that keep sound pressure down to levels recommended safe for young ears
Color Clickers and Crayon Classics dress up your iPod touch with classic Crayola colors
Nashville, TN – April 19, 2012 – Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, and Crayola, whose products have inspired creative expression in children for more than 100 years, announce the availability of Crayola MyPhones, Color Clickers and Crayon Classics.
MyPhones are fully adjustable, volume-limiting earbuds and headphones that are conveniently kid-sized. Exposure to excessive levels of sound is a health issue, especially for children. The Crayola MyPhones built-in sound-control circuit caps peak volume levels at 85 decibels or lower, which is the maximum level recommended by many auditory health organizations worldwide.
The MyPhones Earbuds, bearing Crayola’s iconic crayon wrapper design, come with their own carrying case, shaped like a Crayola crayon. It opens to showcase the 3 sizes of soft silicone ear cushions, sized just right to fit kids’ ears. The earbuds are available now in Crayola colors: purple pizzazz, cotton candy (pink), caribbean green, and blue berry.
Available in two color combinations, pink/purple and blue/green, the MyPhones Headphones are designed to fit over the ears. They come complete with stickers and Crayola markers, so children can customize their headphones and make them unique and personalized.
Also available now are two new ways to showcase and protect your iPod touch: Color Clickers and Crayon Classics. Crayola Color Clickers combine a protective polycarbonate shell with 28 interchangeable color stripes, giving young iPod users the option to create new color combinations every day. Color Clickers are available in green and yellow with coordinating color stripes. Crayola Crayon Classics cases look just like the familiar, beloved Crayola crayon wrapper, and protect your iPod touch in a variety of Crayola colors: purple pizzazz, cotton candy (pink), caribbean green, radical red, and blue berry.
