A growing digital business is helping leading British newspaper The Guardian to offset declining print figures and cut losses, according to the publisher’s latest annual report.
Guardian News & Media is responsible for The Guardian, The Observer and guardian.co.uk and reports that digital revenues have increased by 28.9% to £55.9 million in the last year.
This helped the publisher to total year revenues of £196.3 million and enabled it to cut its annual loss by 30% to £30.9 million in the year to the end of March.
