Maxthon has released the latest version 4.31 update to its iOS browser. The update features bug fixes, stability, speed and performance enhancements, “shake and send” sharing capabilities and
localized content in 15 languages.
I’ve checked out various previous versions of Maxthon for iOS, and I use the desktop version quite frequently on my Mac, but for some reason the iOS version never stood out a whole lot from the
pack of good mobile browsers on my iPad.
However, this new version is especially timely, because iOS 7 introduced a bug to the iOS Chrome browser, defeating its ability to cut and paste URLs from the address field (at least on my iPad 2),
which renders it pretty useless for my purposes. Consequently, the availability of another fast and capable browser that works pretty much like Chrome and is unafflicted by the cut and paste glitch
