Word on the street is that as soon as Apple announced the iPhone 5 on September 12th, the team that works to approve or deny incoming apps shifted into maximum overdrive to start pushing through apps that add support for the larger 4-inch display on the iPhone 5. Many apps made it ahead of the launch and got some nice promotional treatment from Apple on stage and in the App Store.
It’s been almost two weeks since that keynote. Quite a few apps have sinced added their support for the iPhone 5, so let’s run through a list of the recent notable ones.

Keep your eyes peeled for additional apps adding support over the next couple of weeks. Some developers might even be prioritizing an update with new features and choosing to optimize the app for iPhone 5 a little bit later. For instance, YouMail updated its free visual voicemail app today with new features like personal audio notes, voicemail downloads, and numberless messaging, but I’ve been informed that an update for iPhone 5 users is also on its way as soon as next week.
