It turns out that the ZTE Nubia Z7 won’t be a humongous phablet, as we thought back in November of last year. The Chinese company has already launched its very big handset in March, and called it Nubia X6.
However, a Nubia Z7 is still coming. ZTE has in fact posted the image you see below to its official Weibo account, alongside the text “Z7, a little more beautiful”. So the company itself has pretty much confirmed the name of its next flagship smartphone.
But what could it be packing under the hood? MyDrivers and its sources come to the rescue on this, while also bringing us two leaked photos showing a part of the Z7′s front (below). Clearly then, this device will be offered in at least two color versions (white and black).
It should sport a 5-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen, a 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and it will feature Nubia UI 2.0, the latest from ZTE on this front.
The Nubia Z7 will apparently be priced at 2,777 yuan, which right now amounts to approximately $444 or €325, a very compelling price point for such a monster. The handset may get official sometime before the end of this month, so stick around for that.
