Usability and comfort are two important characteristics that should be at the forefront of all mobile devices. Shortcuts and widgets have made our lives easier, and have definitely increased our productivity.
But there may be an even easier way. iOS devices include a shortcut screen where you can quickly access helpful functions.
Watch our video and check our step-by-step guide below, to maximize your efficiency and productivity the easy way.
How-To Video: Watch How To Quickly Access 10 Useful Functions On Your iPhone
1. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen
The shortcut screen will show.
2. Tap the icons to use up to 11 different functions
Plane mode isn't only useful when flying (where you can turn it on instead of turning off the phone). This setting will disconnect your device's signal transmission (hence, you won't be able to make or receive calls or text-message). That'll save battery and give you the chance to play games, try apps, take pictures and listen to music without any interruptions.
Wi-Fi: This will allow you to detect local wifi networks and will automatically connect to the one which is available. Why would you want to disconnect? Well, when there are no wifi networks in range, it might consume a small amount of battery, but not that much, so it's not worrisome. However, if you're somewhere where the local wifi networks aren't working well (poor signal, intermittent), you might want to disconnect the wifi and turn to your data plan, which will definitely not cause those problems.
Bluetooth: Connect with other devices
Do not disturb: Turn on to stop all notifications
Lock Orientation: Stop the screen from rotating
Brightness: Adjust to your taste and save battery
Music: Play your music, skip between songs and adjust the volume
