If you've got an iPhone, you've got Passbook built right in. With Passbook you can add rewards cards, payment cards via Apple Pay, and more. Some apps even use Passbook as a convenient way to view information at a glance. All you have to do to get started is add a few cards!
How to add cards to Passbook on your iPhone
Launch an app that supports Passbook cards. In this instance, we'll use Airbnb.
Somewhere in a Settings panel, there should be a Passbook option.
Tap on the Add to Passbook option.
You should see a preview of the card. Tap Add in the upper right hand corner.
The card should now be available to you in Passbook.
Remember that the process of adding Passbook cards can vary greatly from app to app, depending on how the company or developer decides to use them. From plane boarding passes to royalty cards to paying for your coffee or lunch, lots of businesses support them. You may just have to do a little digging inside your favorite apps.
If you want to find some new Passbook apps to play around with, the App Store has a dedicated section you can browse through. Just launch the Passbook app and click the plus button and then the button that says Find Apps for Passbook.
