Choosing the perfect wallpaper is a stylish outlet for expressing your own personality. You can be as simple or outrageous as you desire. Fortunately, your HTC One (M8) makes it easy to customize, giving you endless possibilities to make your smartphone unique.
To personalize your home screen wallpaper, you can choose a preset wallpaper, or create your own from a photo you’ve taken with the camera. Here’s how to create your own:
Go to Settings, and then tap Personalize.
Tap Home Screen Wallpaper.
Choose an existing photo and crop it.
Tap Done or Apply.
You can use absolutely anything for your wallpaper, from beloved photos of your pets, to heartwarming vacation memories, or even your favorite fine art. For instance, you can use this mural by Jesse Reno as a stunning background to your phone.
Reno’s a self taught mixed media painter who has been drawing since the age of 5. He lives and works in his home studio in Portland, Oregon. Using acrylic paint, oil pastels and pencil, he opts to work almost exclusively with his hands as brushes. Reno describes his work as “Contemporary Primitive Abstract Narrative” and has exhibited throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
Whatever you decide for your wallpaper, make sure to have fun with it. You can find beauty all around you to use as inspiration. Just let your creativity shine!
