It’s easy to enable caps lock on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. And that’s thanks to the update on the iOS 5/5.0.1.
There are not many times when you want to use ALL CAPS – because mostly that’s annoying – but sometimes, it becomes important. May be to type out some text like that’s in CAPS, or may be to emphasize something very important – or to shout at someone through the text message! Okay, if you have been in that situation, and you do not know how to enable the caps lock easily, we have the solution for that too.
Before this iOS update, caps lock had to be manually set, through Settings -> General -> Keyboard.
However, now, a simple double-tap does it all. Here’s how to enable caps lock on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch:
Whenever the keyboard shows up, DOUBLE-TAP the SHIFT key and it turns to a blue colored button. This indicates that the Caps Lock is now ON and you can type and check for yourself.
You can turn it off again by tapping on the Shift Key once.
iOS 5/5.0.1 has made it easy to enable CapsLock on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. So next time you need them, just double-tap the shift key and you’re set.
