Once you choose, you will be asked to enter the relevant details for the pass that you just selected.
After you’ve entered the details, you’re set: you can tap on Create.
A single .pkpass file will be shown. Download this and when you try to open this, it will open through Passbook app.
That’s it. You’ve got your new pass.
Users are reminded that the website is in alpha and the whole iOS 6 thing itself is in beta so making the Passbook highly functional is going to take time.
The Passbook app was one of the little surprises Apple had for the iOS 6. The passbook app is unique in the sense that it has real-time updating features – so that if you have a boarding pass on your passbook, it will keep a tab on the flight details, boarding gate details and more and provide all that info to you live.
