The jailbreak community has always been involved with Siri and tried getting it for other devices. If you want Siri there are two options for you, do it yourself or buy a Siri proxy server and let the sellers do the rest of the work to keep the server fast. Here we’ll show you how to install Siri on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch without proxy server.
The jailbreak community gives the gift of Siri to your non-iPhone 4S device by teaching how to install Siri without proxy. But, you need to have a friend or a family member who owns an iPhone 4S which is jailbroken.
Follow the steps given below to get Siri on iPhone 4/3GS and iPod Touch:
Important: Make sure you install the AssistantConnect4S Cydia tweak on the iPhone 4S and AssistantConnect on the non-4S device.
Open AssistantConnect4S on the 4S device, then use Siri (you can say anything) then close Siri and choose the “Email Siri Data” option and email it to yourself or to your friend with the non-4S.
Open the email on the non-4S device and tap on the attachment. Open it in AssistantConnect.
If you’re on the non-4S end of this tutorial, you’ll need to disable a few things with Spire.
Get SBSettings and tap on “more”.
Then navigate to “Mobile Substrate Addons” and disable “SpireHooks” and “SpireInjector”.
Go to the home screen and the device should respring.
