Samsung has begun rolling out the latest Official Marshmallow Android 6.0.1 OTA Update for Samsung Galaxy A5 SM-J510F. Earlier, Samsung has updated its Galaxy J-series devices and Samsung Galaxy A7 now it has released Marshmallow update for Galaxy A series devices. But it is important to note that it is available in select regions.
This is certainly a welcoming move by Samsung as it has taken a new route by paying heed to budgetary smartphones of the brand. Launched in the year 2015, Samsung Galaxy A5 was available with Android 4.4 KitKat. It was upgraded to 5.0.1 Lollipop later that year. How to update the software on Samsun phone via OTA (Over-The-Air)?
Make your phone fully charge and connect it to Wi-Fi.
Using the device home screen, pull down the notification shade and go to Settings.
Under the System category, choose About device.
Go to Software update > Check for updates.
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.
The device automatically restarts once the new software gets successfully installed.
