AirPrint lets you print pages right from your iPhone or iPad using AirPrint, including pictures right from the Photos apps. It works with any AirPrint compatible printer, which makes it a great way to make hard copies of your memories without ever having to transfer anything to your computer first. All right from the Share Sheet, and all with just a few taps!
How to send photos straight to your printer with AirPrint for iPhone and iPad
Launch the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap on the photo you'd like to print.
Tap on the Share button in the lower left hand corner.
In the last bar of icons, scroll left to reveal more options.
Tap on Print — it's all the way at the end.
Tap on Printer and choose your AirPrint compatible printer.
Adjust the copy count if you'd like more than one.
Tap on Print.
Tap on Done in the upper left hand corner to continue using your iPhone or iPad while your photo is printed.
That's all there is to it! Your picture should print immediately. Be sure before you attempt to print photos that you've edited them just the way you like, and loaded the kind of photo paper you want to use.
Keep in mind that if a printer doesn't show up for you, it's possible that your printer is not AirPrint compatible. Apple has a running list on what printer models are verified to be AirPrint compatible. If you aren't sure if yours is, hit the link below and search for your printer model.
