Chances are, as you chat with your friend, you might want to show that one photo you took just a day before. Want to know how easy sharing photos via Messages from Photos app or Messages app is? This is for you – people who want to share photos from their iPhone or iPad to other people – either using an iDevice or other phones.
Sharing Photos Via Messages from Messages App
The most common form of communication is messaging and most of us find it easy and fast. How would it be to send your friend that photo you want to show?
You’ll find a camera icon at the bottom-left of the messaging screen. Tap that.
If you want to send a photo that you already have taken, tap Choose Existing. Otherwise, if you want to take a pic and send it, just tap Take Photo.
Browse and select the photo you want to send. It will get added to the message bubble.
More photos? No problem! Tap that camera icon once more and repeat the process!
Send your message. Photos will reach the receiver in perfect condition!
Sharing Photos via Messages from Photos App
This one is a top favorite though. You are looking at your Photos in the Photo App and you want to share them quick with one or many of your friends? Here we go:
Tap on the small icon on the bottom-left again (when you are seeing a photo on your iPhone).
Choose Message in the options screen that opens up.
Fill the ‘To:’ with as many people as you want. Add some text if you want to.
That’s fast, slick and easy, right?
Messages to other iDevices go via iMessages – data network – so it’s free!
But what if I wanted to share multiple photos and send them all at one go!
Share More than One Photo – the Camera Roll!
Many times, it’s not just one but many photos that I want to send to my friend. Going by the above methods might take a lot of time if the count is above five. So here’s another method – thanks all to Apple designers!
Open up your camera roll and select the folder . You’ll see an icon on the top-right of the screen. Tap it.
Choose the photos you want to send. Hit ‘Share’ which would be on the bottom-left of the screen.
Select Message and that’s about it. Choose the recipients and you’re done!
Sharing photos via messages has never been this easy. In fact, it’s even better these days because one can do it via so many methods and use up only the data network. The iMessages is certainly working to the benefit of a lot of people these days. Not only are the messages free (if you consider the data package as free because you already pay for it too), but they are fast, slick and streamlined.
