Amazon Kindle e-readers are one of the most popular brands in the world and many people use these to read eBooks, newspapers, magazines and even blogs. One of the features we discovered was the ability to take screenshots of anything that is displayed on your screen. Today, we will show you via video, the entire step by step process on how to take a screenshot.
The Amazon Kindle 4 comes in two different models. You have the original 2011 model and the new 2012 edition that came out late last year. The main difference between the two is the color and the 2012 model has faster page turns and higher resolution text. The general procedure is the exact same on both models. To take a screenshot you have to click on the keyboard button and the more button at the exact same time. You often have to wait for around five seconds for the screenshot to happen and the Kindle screen will refresh and flash. When pictures are saved they are saved directly to your e-reader and you can copy any images you save to your computer via the USB cable.
