The things you’ll require are:
iPhone 4S or iPad 2 running either iOS 5.0 or iOS 5.0.1
Greenpois0n Absinthe for Mac. At this time, only Mac users can jailbreak A5 devices. Windows version will be available soon. We will update with links as soon as they will be released.
Step 1: First of all take backup of your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 before you go ahead.
Step 2: Now connect your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 with Computer.
Step 3: Now launch Greenpois0n Absinthe and click on ‘Jailbreak’.
Step 4: Jailbreak process will take longer time than previous jailbreaks. It may look like your device is restoring from a backup but that’s normal.
Step 5: Your device will reboot, when GreenpoisOn is done with injecting the files.
Step 6: At last slide to unlock your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 when GreenpoisOn tells you.
Step 7: You will find GreenpoisOn app icon on homescreen of your device. Launch the Absinthe icon and it will do the rest of the things.

How to Fix Database Connection Error while trying to untethered jailbreak iPhone 4S or iPad 2:
Just go to Settings -> Network -> VPN and turn on VPN connection on. You will get an error, your device will reboot and then you may able to either load the Absinthe icon or Cydia will already be there in its place.
