HP did not have very good start when it comes to tablets market. The interest around the TouchPad actually born only when the prices were cut. The product was subsequently withdrawn from sale, but this does not mean that the producer chooses not to manufacture tablets. Some time ago Hewlett Packard has announced that they are working on the next tablet device, but this time it will not work under the WebOS, or even Android but it will use Windows 8.
Neowin.net discovered the graphics showing the upcoming HP tablet. The device will not be addressed to ordinary users, but for more demanding entrepreneurs hence, among other things, the presence of the device security applications.
HP Slate 8 is going to be equipped with 10.1-inch display of unknown resolution, battery provides work for 8-10 hours. The thickness of the model that weighs 0.68 kg, is expected to be 9.2 mm. From the graphic, we learn also that the tablet will be operated with the stylus and that docking station will be available.
Meg Whitman, CEO of HP, has already announced some time ago that the first HP tablet with Windows 8 will debut on the market in 2012. Now we can just wait for official information about HP Slate 8.
