T-Mobile has announced the launch of a bunch of new handsets on its network with effect from today. The carrier had already announced that it will put the HTC 10 on sale today onwards, but alongside HTC’s latest flagship, a couple of other handsets, too, are being made available on T-Mobile simultaneously. However, unlike the HTC 10, the other two happen to be mid-rangers that will be primarily targeted at pre-paid users, and hence, will be also available on MetroPCS, which happens to be the prepaid brand for the ‘Uncarrier’. While one of those new devices is the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016 edition), the other one happens to be the LG K10. Meanwhile, all three are already available at T-Mobile starting today, but the two mid-rangers will be available on MetroPCS from the 27th of this month.
Coming to the details, the HTC 10 is available at $0 down with a monthly installment of $28.34 for 24-months for qualified customers. The device comes with a full retail price of $679.99. T-Mobile is also offering a couple of HTC-branded accessories worth $85 for free to those who’d buy the device before May 24th. While one of those two accessories is a Rapid Charger, the other happens to be an Ice View Case. Meanwhile, those eyeing the Galaxy J7 (2016) can get their hands on it by paying $0 down and just $10 per month for 24-months as device payment on T-Mobile’s interest-free financing. The device originally comes with an FRP of $239.99, but MetroPCS customers will be able to snag it for just $179 with instant in-store rebate.
Meanwhile, the LG K10 is by far the most affordable handset of the lot, and will be available at T-Mobile for $0 down and just $6.88 per month for a 2-year period. T-Mobile has put an FRP of $164.99 on it, but MetroPCS will sell it for just $99 from the 27th. T-Mobile customers will also be able to access services like unlimited music, TV and movie streaming, and use unlimited data and text in more than 140 countries around the world. Meanwhile, for the price they’re asking, all three devices look fairly decent on paper, so it’s up to the consumers to decide about what they’d like to splurge on.
