A couple of months ago, Sprint decided to release its variant of the “Big Dog” in HTC’s new One series, the One X. Sprint slapped on a kickstand, changed the color scheme, and changed the devices name to the EVO 4G LTE.
When the phone was initially released, it had battery issues, among other problems, and Sprint’s very own Android claim to fame, Google Wallet, didn’t work with the device (at least not well). Now, Sprint is releasing an OTA update to fix these and more issues that have lingered and plagued users since launch. The update is tagged with the numeric name “1.22.651.3″. Check out what it brings along with it below:
Google security updates
Wifi disconnect issue
Time zone issue
Google Wallet fix
Side loaded video pause issue
Random power cycling issue
Pioneer Bluetooth Car Kit connection issue
Gallery app crash
Calendar reminder (all day even time) issue
To install this fix, on your phone, go to settings/system updates/HTC software update and lastly press check now. The fix should pop up and you should be all ready to go. Enjoy!
