A new leak has revealed the existence of the HTC Hima Ace Plus flagship. The smartphone is supposedly a larger version of the Hima, probably sharing most of the internals barring the display.
If the rumors are true, the HTC Hima Ace Plus should be packing a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 20-megapixel camera on the back, a 4-megapixel front facing Ultrapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 3,000 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 UI.
The original HTC Hima is expected to pack most of the same hardware, but in a smaller package and with a 1080p display instead of QHD or 2K. This report also mentions that the smartphone could be using a fingerprint sensor, much like HTC’s last phablet, the One Max. Unfortunately, the Hima Ace Plus could be HTC’s second flagship of the year which means that we might not get to see it until September or October.
We’re looking forward to the launch of the One M9 or Hima to properly assess how different the Hima Ace Plus will turn out.
