The HTC M8 Ace is supposedly going to be officially unveiled on June 3, which is next week. So until then you can expect to see a lot more of it, because the leaks are intensifying. This time around, we get to see the upcoming plastic version of the One M8 flagship yet again, in more colors than ever. It looks like the M8 Ace will launch in blue and red too, not just the traditional hues of grey and white.
Alongside the images you can see below, some of the M8 Ace’s specs got confirmed one more time. The handset will come with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash (without UltraPixels or the Duo Camera setup seen in the One M8, and just a single LED compared to two), a 5 MP front camera, and BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers (obvious from the pictures). It will obviously run Android, and we hope it’s going to be version 4.4 KitKat, which is the latest from Google.
The HTC M8 Ace will make its debut in China, though it will probably be sold in other countries too at some point. So far it’s been rumored to cost around 3,000 yuan in China (approximately $479 or €352 at the current exchange rates), way less than the Samsung Galaxy S5 – which is going to be its main competitor.
