TAOYUAN, Taiwan – HTC introduced a new flagship model from its Android smartphone line-up called the HTC One.
The HTC One comes loaded with a range of features and it appeals to high-end smartphone lovers. This smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch display screen with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 468 ppi, which is better than the company’s own HTC Butterfly.
The device also has the reputation for being the first ever smartphone to feature an Ultrapixel camera. The 4 MP camera is capable of producing images with its larger pixels and it is therefore comparatively brighter than that of other smartphone cameras (2 micron per pixel versus the Nokia N8‘s 1.75 and the 808 PureView‘s 1.4 microns). HD video recording is also possible through this Ultrapixel camera.
The One by HTC also introduces a range of new HTC features such as HTC BlinkFeed, a tile-based live stream connected to social networks; HTC Zoe, a feature that captures video together with images, so that pictures in the gallery appear animated; and HTC BoomSound, integrating Beats Audio on the front stereo speakers. The HTC Sense TV feature turns the smartphone into a program guide or remote control for televisions.
This smartphone incorporates a range of high-end features, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 4G LTE support.
