The HTC One aims to be “THE” device to show that HTC is not down and out quite yet. With a strong announcement and various carriers on board, it seemed HTC was about to prove that very point on March 15th. Now, right before the launch of Samsung’s SIV on March 14th, the mobile giant has hit a penitential delay on their production line. The delay comes by way of the highly touted UltraPixel camera. Basically the problem is really simple. Lack of parts. HTC can’t seem to find enough compact camera modules that play a vital part in what makes the UltraPixel camera well, ultra.
With the March 15th launch date fast approaching, HTC may decide to limit the One’s launch in smaller markets. There is a possibility that smaller markets, like Taiwan and Singapore, may be delayed in order to allow a more stress free launch in the US.
Will this delay in production affect your decision in getting the HTC One?. Let me know in the comments below.
