The HTC One (E8) started off in China (where it saw great demand) and is slowly moving west - through India and soon Russia. The info comes from local site Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru, which says the alternative flagship will be available ins month at RUB 25,000.
That works out to 530, which may seem steep but keep in mind that prices in Russia are higher than in Europe, the HTC One (M8) costs RUB 30,000 or 635.
The HTC One (E8) is based on the One (M8), except it drops the trademark metal unibody for polycarbonate and upgrades the camera to 13MP (no dual-camera tricks though). Also, it's a dual-SIM device. Other than that is based on the same 5" 1080p screen and Snapdragon 801 chipset.
The alt-flagship will be available in HTC's own web store and DNS.
