The HTC One (M8) is a great looking phone, but one year later the original flagship One is still going strong. If you’re looking to pick up a new Android handset it’s still a good option, and for two days only you can grab the device from Best Buy for just $1 with a two-year contract. This probably won’t be the last deal we see on the HTC One now that its successor has arrived, though.
For anyone who needs to own the latest phone, there are some deals on the newer HTC One (M8), too: Verizon customers can pick up the new device for $149 on-contract from Best Buy, while Amazon is offering the M8 for the same price on Sprint’s network. Unfortunately, if you’re on AT&T or T-Mobile you’ll still have to pay full price for the device.
If you’re having trouble deciding between between these two HTC phones there are a few factors to consider. The M8 is bigger at 5 inches compared to the original One’s 4.7-inch display. It also offers some clever camera features thanks to that Duo Camera in the back, and features a slightly curvier design, a faster and more powerful processor, expandable storage and more. If those spec bumps are of no concern to you, however, then save about $198 and take advantage of Best Buy’s deal on last year’s model.
