A source from an unnamed UK retailer has confirmed that the HTC One M8 mini is scheduled to go on sale in May and will have a 4.5in screen compared to 5in of the full-size model. It will also use the same aluminium uni-body design as its big brother.
That screen size of 4.5in is only slightly smaller than the original HTC One which has a 4.7in display. It's unclear whether the HTC One M8 mini will use a Full HD 1080p resolution or 720p but we'd put our money on the latter. Visit: New HTC One (m8) 2014 price and where to buy in UK.
The retailer also confirmed that the Duo Camera, which lets users refocus photos after they've been taken, will be replaced with just a single sensor – presumably the Ultrapixel camera which HTC favours.
Other specs are unknown but expect things to be downgraded compared to the HTC One M8. The microSD card slot could be gone and the processor will likely be less powerful.
We'll keep an eye on HTC One M8 mini release date, price and specs information and let you know when we find out more.
