HTC today expanded its “HTC One M8″ line beyond Android with the launch of “HTC One M8 for Windows,” a release which packs Microsoft’s third-place mobile OS into HTC’s flagship device.
The device, which ships with Windows Phone 8.1 and costs $99, is set to launch online at noon ET today, CNET reports. It won’t hit retail stores until tomorrow.
According to HTC America president Jason Mackenzie, today’s release represents “the first time a smartphone manufacturer has launched an iconic device in multiple Operating system without making any compromises.”
