A new leak has revealed that the HTC One M9+ smartphone will be available for purchase in Q1 or Q2 of this year. Upleaks further claims that the smartphone will be available for purchase in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), but there’s no word on its American launch as of yet.
The smartphone is expected to be packing a Quad HD display and also sport a MediaTek MT6795 octa core SoC, while the North American LTE markets will most likely receive the Snapdragon 810 variant.
The company’s New York City event has just concluded with no word on the smartphone, so it is possible that the company will show off the smartphone at a later date. The One M9+ might be limited to a few markets at first so as to not confuse the customers. The One M9 is yet to officially hit the markets, so it doesn’t make sense for HTC to launch the One M9+ in the same markets. If rumors are accurate, the One M9+ might also be packing a fingerprint scanner on the home button.
