HTC One (M9) launch date is getting closer by the day, and we’re getting more and more leaks, rumors and official teasers by the company. The official promotional videos leaked quite recently, showing off the One (M9) entirely. People have been wondering if the videos are real, or is it just a decoy, but according to HTC’s former Product Manager, those videos are very real. It seems like HTC is really, really bad at keeping stuff private, it’s kind of hard to believe they did this on purpose.
Anyhow, if you’d like to check out those videos, you can do that by clicking on this link. In case you’d like to check out the little details from the video however, you might want to check out the gallery down below. You’ll find a ton of screenshots down there which will get you a good look at the device itself and parts of the UI on it. It seems more and more likely that this info is real, which means HTC did opt for a 20-megapixel snapper here, and ditched the whole “Duo” camera philosophy. Anyhow, check the gallery down below and see for yourself.
As far as the specs go, the One (M9) is expected to sport a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and multiple in-built storage options. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor will power on this handset along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics processing. Android Lollipop will come pre-installed on the HTC One (M9) and HTC’s Sense UI 7.0 will be on top of Google’s OS. As previously said, the screenshots down below will show you part of the Sense 7.0 UI, though you’ll mostly see the camera UI along with the new photo editor.
There you have it folks, the new HTC flagship is out of the bag it seems. What are your thoughts here, do you like it, or do you think that HTC should differentiate more this time around? Whether we’re willing to admit it or not, this thing resembles the One (M8) a whole lot. Let us know what you think in the comments, we’d love to hear from you.
