September may not be just the month when Samsung will introduce its new Galaxy Note III, but also when HTC unveils its first phablet – the One Max (also known as HTC T6).
According to German website Mobile Geeks (via The Verge), HTC plans to announce the One Max in early September. The Galaxy Note III will be presented at about the same time (possibly on September 4), so HTC is probably trying to directly threaten Samsung’s next-generation phablet.
Specs-wise, the One Max reportedly offers a 5.9 inch (or 6.0 inch) Full HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB / 64GB of internal memory, and a 3,200 mAh battery. It should also have a special stylus.
Mobile Geeks also says that another upcoming HTC handset, the One Mini, could be announced before the end of July – hence in the next couple of weeks. Speaking of it, AndroidNext has a new set of photos showing the black version of the One Mini:
Obviously smaller than both the regular One and the One Max, the HTC One Mini comes with a 4.3 inch HD display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Sense 5 UI, 4MP Ultrapixel rear camera, 1.6Mp front-facing camera, dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.
