HTC has just unveiled the One Mini smartphone bearing exclusive designs by renowned designer David Koma. This new variant is officially known as the “HTC One Mini x David Koma” and will be handed over to 10 lucky winners in the region by HTC UK. This new design is also part of HTC’s Here’s To Change campaign which saw the addition of Robert Downey Jr as the new celebrity face of the company.
Participants of the David Koma competition will have to sketch a design inspired by David Koma, hence reflecting the idea of Change. So the regular user cannot buy this exclusive variant at this point. If you’re a designer, make sure you follow HTC UK’s Twitter page and send your sketches with the hashtag #HTCKoma. Apart from the 10 lucky winners of the smartphone, one user will get a grand prize of a design sketched and signed by the man himself.
The David Koma HTC One Mini will not be any different from the regular HTC One Mini in terms of internal hardware. So you’ll find a 4.3 inch 720p display, 16GB of internal storage, a 4MP camera sensor (ultrapixel) with a 1.6MP front camera, a dual core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5 UI and a 1,800 mAh battery.
