More than a year after it first hit the market, the original HTC One is still a great smartphone, and today you can grab a copy from eBay for $250 less than it’s usual asking price. For one day only the only online retailer is offering HTC’s year-old flagship for just $400 unlocked. This is a GSM model, meaning it will work with AT&T, T-Mobile or European carriers, but isn’t compatible with Verizon or Sprint.
Here’s a quick refresher on what this phone has to offer: it comes equipped with a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, an UltraPixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2300mAh battery and NFC. It runs Android 4.1.2 out of the box, but you’ll be able to update to Android 4.4 KitKat once you boot it up.
If you’re looking for an unlocked GSM handset to call your own this $400 HTC One is one of your best options, but for anyone who wants the latest and greatest it probably isn’t the best choice. In that case you’re better off grabbing the new HTC One (M8) for $199 on-contract or even waiting for the rumored M8 Prime phablet which is expected to launch in September.
