Could HTC's upcoming One X be the next G-series device to hit T-Mobile?
HTC's One X caused quite a stir at this year's Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, and the device may well be coming to T-Mobile in the next couple of months under a new guise.
The quad-core toting smartphone could be making its way to T-Mobile with a new name (think GX or G4X), and may also feature a vanilla installation of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) rather than ICS overlaid with HTC's Sense UI.
This might come as good news to those users that prefer Android as the developers intended, and if the rumours can be believed it will likely be a shot in the arm for T-Mobile, as the company has been enduring a slump in sales over the past few months.
The T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) was the device launched Android back in 2008 and it wouldn't be a big surprise to see the One X, HTC's next flagship device, chosen as the model to carry on its legacy.
