HTC is trying to be as transparent as possible when it comes to providing information on future software updates for its devices. The firm is already promising that all new devices will receive software updates in a timely manner, and now it’s doing even more for its customers by publishing a dashboard that shows the progress of each update.
According to a new chart published on Monday, HTC is in the “integration” stage of preparing the One (M7), the One Mini and the One Max for Sense 6. That includes the One (M7) on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T in addition to the unlocked model, as well as the Sprint One Max, Verizon One Max and AT&T One Mini. Meanwhile, T-Mobile’s One (M7) is still in the development stage. Next, the phones will go through a carrier certification process, before they’re eventually pushed out to customers.
Hopefully you find this tool useful, at least if you’re a big fan hoping for the latest and greatest software to hit your HTC device. Sense 6 should be hitting most of the aforementioned devices sometime this summer.
