With the official unveiling date of the all new HTC One set at March 25th, HTC is wasting no time in hyping up its latest flagship smartphone with a new teaser video.
The video, called “HTC Technical Translations #1: Boom Sound” features two men talking about the dual front facing speakers on the One. One of the men, wearing a lab coat, talks about the technology behind Boom Sound with a bunch of technical jargon that most people couldn’t understand. The other, wearing more casual clothes, translates this technical jargon into plain English saying that the speakers on the HTC One “make amazing quality sounds because of its dual front facing speakers.” A point that I think most of us who’ve heard the One’s speakers could agree on.
But while this first part of the video is entertaining, where it really gets interesting is about 1 minute and 5 seconds into it, where the lab coat sporting technician busts the all new HTC One out of his pocket. Of course, being just a teaser video, the phone is heavily pixelated to the point where you can’t make anything out.
So what exactly did we learn about HTC’s new flagship? Not much, really. But we do get confirmation that the name of the phone is the “All New HTC One” and that it will indeed be unveiled on March 25th. Besides that, we are led to believe that the Boom Sound speakers will be improved which doesn’t really come as much of a surprise.
Because the video numbered #1, there will likely be more teaser videos like this leading up to the all new One’s unveiling date on March 25th. Watch the teaser below:
